Daylene Reina, a horse in which everything comes together. With the famous Jazz as her sire and a dam line built up with Hurricane and Sultan, crossing Gelder blood with English Thoroughbred, she has all the aspects needed for the higher work. Diligence, strength, powerful movements and willingness to work.

The number of sport horses that have descended from this family is therefore impressive. A long list of Grand Prix horses and approved stallions have come from the Reina line, bred by Wim van Arkel. Names such as the Oldenburg approved Drakdream (by Donnerhall), international GP horses Davidoff Ter Kwincke (by Wynton), Divo (by Washington) and Chicago (by Dayano), and the famous KWPN stallion Glock's Johnson. Together with Hans Peter Minderhoud, this horse is the winner of team bronze at the World Equestrian Games in Cannes (2014), team gold and individual bronze at the European Championship in Aachen (2015), an individual 8th place at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, and has numerous national and international victories to his name.

'Day', as we call this mare in the stable, is a gentle, well-mannered horse who always wants to work. She has a super walk and moves with a lot of rhythm and power. Because of her somewhat classic conformation, modern stallions suit her very well, and she passes her impressive front and strong topline on to her offspring.

Day arrived on Hoeve Noordenwind in January 2022 and expects a foal from the highlight of the Oldenburger 2022 tests, Escanto PS (by Escamillo x Fürstenball) next year.
