Diwanda (nickname Deja) is the total picture. No wonder, with honorable stallions such as Florencio, Flemmingh and Ferro in her dam line. This black bay mare was born in 2008, bred by the Derks brothers from Oploo, the Netherlands, and has been with Kathleen and Arne since 2018. After she became 'ster' as a young horse and achieved 78 points in the ibop - with an 8.5 for her canter and an 8 for rideability - she was declared elite in 2022. She also competed at Z1 level.

Her dam Siwanda (D-OC elite sport by Flemmingh) was paired with Florencio I, the two-time world champion in 2004 and 2005 under Hans Peter Minderhoud. Several successful horses come from this breeding line, both in international jumping, driving and dressage sport. This says a lot about the health and versatility of this family.

In movement, Deja shows great use of the body with a lot of bend in the joints. Her canter is particularly striking. Her trotwork has a lot of suppleness and her walk is powerful with a rhythmic four beat. She gives her rider a very nice feeling because of the light contact this mare offers and she also has a lot of 'go'. In addition, she is very calm and gentle in nature.
