PHOENIX NW

Phoenix NW is a 3 year old bay gelding sired by the famous Oldenburg stallion Rubin Royal, combined with our ster prok sport Z2 mare Efeera (Zjengis Khan x Montecristo). Rubin Royal is the father of a whopping 26 licensed stallions and 28 Grand Prix horses and counting. A healthy line with a lot of sport, so it's no surprise that this stallion has been in the top of the WBFSH ranking for years! Mother Efeera is a kind and diligent mare with a lot of talent for the difficult exersises. We have bred Phoenix ourselves and we are very proud of him, especially since he has so many assets that we strive for; great character, a strong build and three functional gaits.

Phoenix loves attention and is always happy. He's a goofy clown who liked to be in the spotlight. At the moment, he stands 1,66 m. at the withers, but since his mom was a late bloomer and grew to 1,71 m. we expect him to grow a few little bit more as well. Phoenix has a good walk, a lot of bounce and rhythm in his trot and a very easy and balanced canter.

At 2,5 years old, Phoenix was vetted and he has great X-rays (including back and neck). Because we are his breeders, his full history known, and he has never been sick or had colic. As a foal, he was very big and his tendons couldn't keep up with his growth, so he had a procedure to adjust that, but Phoenix has fully recovered and is ready to start his career as a sporthorse! He is well-behaved on the trailer and with the farrier and has no vices.

At the moment, we are starting Phoenix with groundwork in preparation to go under saddle. We believe this fun horse is going to make someone very happy! If you are looking for a new best friend with a great work ethic, Phoenix is the horse for you.
