Oro Nero V is a 4-year-old bay gelding by the legendary stallion Totilas who won three world titles in Kentucky, 2011 with Dutch rider Edward Gal. Totilas also proved himself as a sire with several approved stallions and offspring that perform at the highest level. In the damline we see Johnson, also a well-known Grand Prix stallion who had a spot in the Dutch team with Hans Peter Minderhoud and won many titles. A top sire and also the current number 1 in the WBFSH ranking. Oro Nero is the result of this combination.
'Ollie', as we call him at the stable, is a friendly and intelligent horse. He definitely has the looks; a striking face, beautiful neck and a solid and compact build. He has three very good gaits in which he shows a great posture and a lot of shoulder freedom. His canter will take you to the moon!
Ollie has been vetted and is approved for sport (incl. neck and back) without any comments on the X-rays. He has no stable vices, is well-mannered in hand and is familiar with loading, the farrier, etc. Under saddle he shows a lot of potential and he certainly has the characteristics to reach the highest level.
Ollie is currently in training. Definitely a future prospect who will score high in the ring!
